The Dubai road takes us through a spectacular desert landscape. Today, Al Ain has become a garden city. We stop at the Hili Gardens to see the archaeological excavations at Hili, dating back some 5,000 years. Next, we will go to the Al Ain National Museum, after which we will take a short walk through an oasis with the ancient falaj irrigation system, we will drive through a traditional camel market. After lunch proceed to Al Ain Mosque Palace Museum, an ancient fortress that was the residence of the late ruler Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan from 1927 to the 1970s, we can see interesting exhibits including a collection of portraits of the family that offer insight into how the royal family lived. We will continue back to Dubai for a stop at a camel farm estate owned by a prominent local family. You will have the opportunity to taste delicious camel milk chocolates.
